Yellow, Rose, or White Gold

Gold is designed to last, but everyday wear naturally creates subtle scratches and changes to its finish over time. To preserve your piece, keep it away from chlorine, bleach and harsh household chemicals, and remove it before swimming, exercising or performing strenuous activities.

How to Clean

For routine cleaning, use lukewarm water with a small amount of mild dish soap. Gently clean with a very soft brush, rinse carefully and dry completely with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid aggressive polishing at home; professional polishing can remove a small amount of metal and should therefore be done selectively rather than frequently.

Diamonds

Diamonds are exceptionally hard, but they still deserve care. Oils, lotions and everyday residue can collect around a diamond and reduce its brilliance.

How to Clean

For routine cleaning, use lukewarm water, mild dish soap and a soft brush, paying particular attention to the underside of the stone and around the setting. Rinse carefully and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Even a diamond can chip from a forceful impact, so remove diamond jewelry during strenuous activity.

For frequently worn rings, we also recommend periodic professional cleaning and inspection of the prongs and setting.

As a general rule, we recommend putting your jewelry on last and taking it off first. Avoid wearing fine jewelry while sleeping, showering, swimming, exercising or doing household work. Fragrance, lotions, cosmetics, chlorine and household chemicals can affect both precious metals and gemstones over time. When your jewelry is not being worn, store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to help prevent scratching and tangling.
